Why CRFI?

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. | 1 Tim 2:1-6

01
The creation of CRFI is simply to ensure efficiency in evangelism through division of labour. We have children evangelism, youth evangelism, singles evangelism, prison evangelism, hospital evangelism, bus evangelism, market evangelism, etc. to cater for each segment of people in the society by those who are best suited for each group based upon their personal endowments.
02
Those at the top echelon of the society are among the least reach in the normal run of church evangelism. Due to their tight schedules, the protocol and security around them, and their isolation occasioned by their position, power and wealth they are insulated from the normal run of evangelism.
03
The power, position, wealth, influence and paraphernalia of office of CRFI target audience are wrongly being equated to mean salvation simply because they possess what most of us desire and are labouring to achieve. This false reasoning also tends to reinforce the erroneous believe that Christianity is for the poor, the failure, drop-outs or never-do-wells. CRFI is created to correct this wrong mental disposition.
04
Despite the exalted positions of CRFI target audience, they are first and foremost human beings who are subject to all human afflictions and frailties hence they need healing miracles, deliverance from satanic attacks, divine protection, marital peace, non-delinquent children etc. Since they play ‘god’ in the affairs of men, they will not come to the open church where everyone is treated alike before God to answer the altar call for salvation, deliverance or healing. Rather they will go at night to the kingdom of darkness for solutions to their problems. Remember that Nicodemus came to Jesus at night as Judaism was the religion of the powers-that-be in his days. Such is the pitiable plight of the highly placed that does not have Christ in his/her life.
05
In our journey of life, we all need a supernatural being to guide and protect us to ensure success and progress. The absence of such a being creates a void in the life of whoever lacks it, leading to a life of fear, insecurity, lack of progress and fulfillment, and sorrow. Only Jesus can adequately perform this role in the life of any human being.
06
Those at the top echelon of the society control our lives by the laws they make and they also control our resources at the family, corporate, local government, state and national levels. Whatever they worship will profoundly affect their conduct in the discharge of their leadership responsibilities. And depending on the kind of god they serve, our freedom to serve the living God may be hindered if not totally denied. If only for our own selfish reasons, we need to bring them to the knowledge of the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ and encourage them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour so that the Holy Spirit can direct their actions.
07
Leaders have a spiritual umbrella over their followers which can be for good or for bad depending on the spiritual standing of the leader. This is why Proverb 29:2 says ‘When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.’ The wicked is someone who does not accept Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Saviour as that means he/she does not acknowledge the suffering of Christ on the cross as an atonement for the sins of all human beings including him or her. Psalm 7:11 says “God is angry with the wicked every day”. Prov 15:9: The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord...Prov 15:8: The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord Prov 15:26: The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord..., Prov.28:9: The prayer of the wicked is an abomination.” Now imagine the consequences of these scriptures on the leader and his/her followers. A community or nation where the leadership is in the hands of the wicked is often characterised by prevalence of evil in its most hideous manifestations. Any wonder then why majority of the population in many countries of the world remain below the poverty level in spite of the enormous resources God endowed the countries with? Satan and his demons are spirits which are invincible. They control a family, community, town, state, or country by controlling the head. When such a leader is converted, the spiritual atmosphere in their domain also changes. This makes CRFI evangelism a spiritual warfare.
08
Evangelising people at the top calls for self-confidence, good communication ability and above average intelligence. It also requires proper understanding of the Bible and the correct interpretation and application of what it says. People at the top are highly educated and very intelligent. Most of them have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation but because the knowledge acquired did not mixed faith in their hearts, it did not profit them. This explains the condition that members must be graduates of tertiary institutions. A member must also belong to the middle or upper echelon of the society and be suitably engaged on a job to forestall imputation of improper motives into his/her actions. This explains the seemingly elitist nature of the fellowship. The Bible says only the deep can call to the deep. (Ps 42: 7)
09
CRFI modus operandi is scriptural as its mode of evangelism has many examples in the Bible. The encounter of Jesus with Nicodemus was not in the synagogue but a private one between the two of them. Jesus had to visit Zacchaeus in his house where He said to him: "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:9-10. Apostle Paul proclaimed the gospel to Sergius Paulus , the deputy governor of his country (Acts 13: 6-13); King Agrippa and Governor Festus (Acts 26: 19-29) not in any of the churches he established but in a one-on one meeting in the palace.
10
CRFI members are not money bags but they are rich in Christ (Phil. 4:19). We operate the principle of ‘from every one according to his might and to everyone according to his/her need’ subject to a minimum requirement that is easily affordable by all members. The active participation of members in the fellowship activities takes precedence over financial considerations.
11
CRFI is not a church but an independent, self-governing inter-denominational evangelistic fellowship serving as the recruiting arm of the body of Christ worldwide. Our members have their respective local churches where they worship, pay their tithe, give offerings and contribute to the financing of any project in their parishes. By their activities, they bring people of their type or those who are more financially endowed to the church thus making their parishes richer and enhance the ability to propagate the gospel.
12
There is synergy in CRFI evangelism. The conversion of a member of our target audience can lead to the salvation of many souls without further effort to win them for Christ.

In view of the foregoing, we urge every believer to be part and/or support this fellowship and ensure the success of her activities in our different areas of influence. The success of the fellowship will engender a peaceful, fruitful, rewarding, fulfilling and victorious life in this world and more importantly a blissful life in eternity with Jesus Christ. This is the true definition of success that every living being should strive to attain.
